About the Role
As a Quality Engineer Mobile Payment Specialist you will be required to support the delivery of secure, reliable and high-performance mobile payment solutions. You will be responsible for end-to-end testing across payment gateways, transaction flows and integrated digital platforms, working closely with business, development and external partners.
This role suits a hands-on quality professional with strong functional testing skills, solid API and automation experience, and a deep understanding of payments within banking or financial services environments. You will help define test strategy, execute testing across releases and ensure quality standards are met in fast-paced Agile delivery teams.

This role is suited to a hands-on quality professional who understands payment gateways, transaction flows and end-to-end testing across modern payment platforms.
🔍 Role Overview
You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of mobile and digital payment solutions, working closely with business, development, and external partners. The role spans manual and automation testing, API testing, and test strategy, within fast-paced delivery environments.
✅ Key Responsibilities
End-to-end testing of mobile payment solutions, including payment gateways and transaction processing
Functional, regression, and exploratory testing
API testing of payment services and integrations
Automation testing (UI and API) where applicable
Test strategy, test plan, and test scenario development
Defect lifecycle management and reporting
Collaboration with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
Ensuring quality standards across releases in Agile environments
🎯 Required Experience & Skills
5+ years’ experience in software testing within payments / mobile / banking / financial services
Proven exposure to mobile payments and payment gateways
Strong functional testing background
Automation testing experience (e.g. Selenium, BDD frameworks)
Solid API testing experience (e.g. Postman or similar)
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
Excellent stakeholder communication skills
🎓 Qualifications & Certifications
Relevant degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
Testing certification is mandatory (e.g. ISTQB or equivalent)
Payments or banking-related qualifications are an advantage
