This course provides an introduction to the Atlassian Jira and Jira Agile software tools. It covers the foundational principles and practices used by agile methodologies, providing the student a flexible set of tools to use in any role (e.g. product owner, scrum master, project manager, team member) on any agile team. This course covers the kanban and scrum agile methodologies, as well as the management of projects through issues/change requests tracking, task tracking, requirement management & workflow management based on business processes.
JIRA helps increase team visibility, improve prioritisation of tasks, develop teamwork and ensures that there is less downtime between tasks with more predictability. This course enables participants to immediately apply what they have learnt back on the job to effectively implement and manage their agile projects.
