About the Role
The Banking/Finance Tester will be responsible for testing and validating banking and financial software systems to ensure they meet both functional and non-functional requirements. This role involves working closely with the development team and stakeholders to understand the requirements of the system and creating test cases that cover all possible scenarios.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Design and execute test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
Document test results and provide reports on testing activities.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure software quality.
Identify, log, and track defects in the system.
Participate in review sessions of business requirements, technical requirements, and design documents.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in software testing or a related field.
Experience in banking or financial services industry is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
